Who we are
Luxury Accommodation ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and in the course of arranging your stays. Company name, registered address and contact details are to be added here before publication.
What we collect
- Enquiries and bookings: name, contact details, travel dates, who is travelling, preferences and any access or dietary needs you share.
- Payment: payments are processed by a licensed payment provider; we receive confirmation and the last digits of the card, never the full card number.
- Members programme: your account details, stays, credit balance and tier.
- Website use: device and browser information and pages visited, and cookies where you allow them.
- Correspondence: messages you send us by email, phone or the contact form.
Why we use it
- To arrange and manage your stays and pass the necessary details to the property (performance of a contract).
- To run the members programme and credit your account (performance of a contract).
- To keep records for tax and accounting purposes (legal obligation).
- To improve the site and prevent fraud (legitimate interests).
- To send our newsletter, only if you have opted in (consent). Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
The properties and transfer partners providing your stay; our payment, email and IT providers, under contracts that limit what they may do with your data; and authorities where the law requires it. Properties outside the UK and EU receive only the details needed to host you. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Booking records are kept for as long as needed to provide the stay and for the period required for tax and accounting afterwards. Member accounts are kept while active and for a short period after closure. Marketing preferences are kept until you withdraw consent.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time. Contact us using the details on the contact page. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority; in the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office.
Cookies
This site uses only the cookies needed for it to work. If we add analytics or marketing cookies, we will ask for your consent first and let you change your choice at any time.
